Every workshop with Njurgun Nangamai is an opportunity to slow down, connect through culture, and experience the art of Aboriginal weaving in a welcoming and hands-on environment.
Whether you're a school, workplace, community organisation, festival, or family group, workshops are tailored to suit participants of all ages and skill levels. Each session combines practical learning with cultural knowledge, creating a meaningful experience that participants will remember long after they leave.

Discover the foundations of Aboriginal weaving while creating your own handmade piece to take home. Participants are guided through traditional weaving techniques and can choose to make a bracelet, necklace or small basket.

For those wanting a more immersive experience, this extended workshop allows participants to create multiple woven pieces while spending more time developing their weaving skills. Participants will make a bracelet or necklace as well as a small woven basket to take home.
